ICTS Hellas establishes its leading position in maritime security

New contracts with seaports across Greece have come to establish ICTS Hellas’ leading position in the maritime security market.

With the objectives of ensuring maximum security to port users Corfu Port Authority has chosen ICTS Hellas to be its security provider at both ISPS port facilities and the areas surrounding CPA’s other premises. ICTS will also deliver the security screening of cruise passengers, crews, hand-luggage, baggage, cargo and mailing at the Cruise Passenger Terminal, till December 2016.

With this contract ICTS Hellas has been trusted as security partner to 3 of the top-4 Greek cruise ports (Piraeus, Mykonos, Corfu), which in 2015 accounted for 46% of the total cruise passenger arrivals and for 38% of the total incoming cruise ships nationwide.

In addition, ICTS Hellas has been awarded new contracts by Port Funds of Kalamata, Kos and Paros – Antiparos for the security screening of passengers, baggage and vehicles in accordance with ISPS Code requirements. Services to Port of Kalamata involve security screening of cruise passengers and their baggage while at Port of Kos specially trained canines (K9) are utilized for explosives’ and illegal immigrants’ detection.

An important project was assigned to ICTS Hellas by Port of Burgas in Bulgaria for the provision of consulting services related to compliance with ISPS Code, Assessment of Security, Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Effectiveness Assessment and the submission of suggested solutions regarding the above fields.
