The Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF S.A.), a member of the HCAP group, announces that the consortium “DIVING STATUS – Fokis Development” submitted an Expression of Interest for the concession of the marina of Itea.
HRADF’s advisors will evaluate the aforementioned Expression of Interest and submit to the Fund’s Board of Directors their recommendation regarding qualification for the tender's next phase (binding offers phase).
The development of the Itea marina follows HRADF’s coordinated efforts to develop marinas and tourist ports of its portfolio, implementing its strategy for highlighting assets with a strong local footprint and enhancing tourism growth.
HRADF’s tender process refers to the concession of port operation services and the right to use, operate, manage and exploit the marina of Itea for a period of at least 40 years.
The Itea marina is located in Itea, Phocis, Greece, in the “Marina” area of Itea gulf, within the boundaries of the former Municipality of Itea. The sea area of Itea Marina extends to a surface of approximately 26,000 sq.m. and can accommodate 146 yachts of small and medium-size. There is also a dry-docking area of 60 yachts. The upland area of the Itea Marina covers an area of approximately 24,700 sq.m. Today, the marina of Itea is operational and accommodates a small number of yachts. The utilization of the marina is expected to give prominence to the unique characteristics of the area, making Itea a reference location for yachting tourism development.
