Celestyal Cruises, the number one choice for travelers to the Greek Islands and the Mediterranean, has been named Best for Service in Cruise Critic’s 11th annual UK Editors’ Picks Awards. The awards are selected by a global panel of impartial cruise experts from Cruise Critic, to highlight the best ocean, river and luxury cruise lines for UK travelers, across dozens of categories.

The panel of experts chose Celestyal Cruises as the winner in the Best Service category for the following reasons: “This two-ship line retains a home-from-home feel onboard, where crew go out of their way to make you feel welcome, whether that’s little touches like creating ever more elaborate towel animals in your room, making balloons for your kids at dinner time or, if you are a returning passenger, remembering your favourite cocktail. It’s always a joy to board a Celestyal cruise ship -- and always a wrench to leave.”

Commenting on the award, Celestyal Cruises’ CEO, Chris Theophilides, said: “This is undoubtedly a successful team effort from all our crew, officers and team ashore. The heart of our philosophy and approach is the legendary Greek hospitality that our guests enjoy onboard our two vessels, each of which is cosy enough to provide genuine and highly personalised service.

“There is no doubt that such recognition accelerates our relatively new brand’s awareness through credible third-party endorsements. Having won an Editor’s Picks Award for the last 3 years amplifies the exemplar service we provide to our guests day in, day out and serves as a great springboard as we increase our efforts to grow our brand going forward.”
