Παρέμβαση του Προέδρου του ΕΒΕΠ, Βασίλη Κορκίδη
Φέτος είναι τα 25 έτη από την ίδρυση του Ελληνοκινεζικού Επιμελητηρίου Εμπορίου, βιομηχανίας, Τουρισμού και Ναυτιλίας. Δεν θα μπορούσε να βρεθεί καλύτερη στιγμή από τις 5 Ιουνίου 2020 καθότι είναι η επέτειος των 48 ετών από την ίδρυση των Διπλωματικών σχέσεων της Λαϊκής Δημοκρατίας της Κίνας και της Ελληνικής Δημοκρατίας. Μια επέτειος που σηματοδοτεί το παρελθόν, το παρόν και το μέλλον των διμερών σχέσεων Ελλάδας-Κίνας αναλύοντας την επόμενη μέρα έτσι ώστε να ξέρουμε τι θα γίνει αύριο.
Η Πρέσβης Κα Ζανγκ Κιουέ τιμά με την παρουσία της με τον ρόλο της κεντρικής ομιλήτριας εκφράζοντας την Κινεζική πλευρά. Ομιλητής εκφράζοντας την Ελληνική πλευρά είναι ο Γ.Γ. του Υπουργείου Εξωτερικών Κος Γρηγόρης Δημητριάδης.

«Your excellency, Ambassador, Ladies & Gentelmen, good morning,
I wish Happy birthday for the 25 years operation of the Hellenic-Chinese Chamber and the 48th anniversary of the founding of the Diplomatic Relations of the People's Republic of China and the Hellenic Republic.
I am glad to notice that the Chinese manufacturing activity returned to growth in May after the 72 days lockdown in order to curb the spread of the pandemic. “Markit” figures rose 50.7 points last month from 49.4 points in April. The May figures were the best recorded since January, mainly due to the sharp increase in production. However, demand remains sluggish. Therefore Is time to work on demand in order to minimize the annual losses from both ends. A proposal is to increase our orders by obtaining lower prices from the Chinese manufacturers and exporters. This offer worked with my company and my associates in Shanghai. We doubled the quantities and we took in return a brave discount. Greece is a safe country in terms of health protection and the port of Piraeus is a «Covid19 free European port». Therefore We must take advantage from the benefits that we achieved.
