The 16th Annual Capital Link Greek Shipping Forum was held with great success in Athens on Thursday, February 5, 2026. The event was organized in cooperation with DNV and Nasdaq, and NYSE.
With attendance exceeding 1,000, the event featured the institutional and industry leadership of global and Greek shipping, and in particular, the heads of four global industry associations: BIMCO, INTERCARGO, INTERTANKO, & International Chamber of Shipping, the Greek Minister of Shipping and Insular Policy, the Shipping Deputy Minister to the President of the Republic of Cyprus, the Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Public Works of the Republic of Malta, the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Transportation Affairs of the U.S. Department of State, the Heads of major Classification Societies, Global Heads of Shipping, Major Global Investors, all attended the forum.
During the Official Forum Luncheon, the “2026 Capital Link Greek Shipping Leadership Award” was presented to Mr. Pantelis Eleftherios (Lou) Kollakis, Chairman – Chartworld Group of Companies, in recognition of his invaluable contributions to Global and Greek shipping. Minister Vasilis Kikilias, Minister of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy – Hellenic Republic offered Keynote Remarks.
